I read this article early this morning and it was just too funny. Most of your books are inspirational but I do love the humor that you can write and it is so important in an ever changing world as it is. I agree that it is an overkill with the little graduations all the time. Kids don't get the chance to always be kids, play outside the games that were meant for the outdoors. Instead they are fascinated with the I-Pad and games ect..

So true! We give our children experiences that should be reserved for the real milestones in education, high school and college. When they have graduation ceremonies in preschool, they are bored with the whole thing by college. The same goes for sports. Parents put them in too early. Save it for a time when a youngster knows what sports are about, and learn well under an eager coach. Everything is rushed, the world is passing by. Stay home and hug your children, there will be plenty of time for everything else.
