She had ‘Neuroendocrine’ cancer that just happened to be in her pancreas. Yes, It matters! Neuroendocrine tumors and carcinomas are very different from other cancers and are treated much differently. My husband has Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. It occurs in many parts of the body and doesn’t resemble what a more common cancer of the same organ would. Neuroendocrine patients identify with the Zebra, because sometimes when you hear hoofbeats, It’s the rare Zebra and not the horse. RIP Aretha✨ You’re already greatly missed
