I did see Lion early evening yesterday. It was a good movie to see but I doubt that it would win picture of the year. La La Land I saw on Christmas Day and I enjoyed seeing a musical as a movie and the music is good in it. I am sure that they will get a lot of awards.Now for me i didn’t see movies like The Rogue, Finding Dory, The Secret Life of Pets, Jungle Book. I wouldn’t think that any of them would be chosen for awards. They may be pretty good movies to see but they don’t strike me as a movie to get an Academy Award. They don’t have the caliber needed to be Academy Award material. That being said maybe the Academy is an elite group that chooses. As far as books go your books and articles are worthy of all different kinds of awards.
