A good podcast and I agree. I for the life of me cannot imagine why a parent would buy a 15 yr old son a gun. What in the world did they think he would do with it anyway? Look at it? I don't think so. . Then there is the def cry for help from the 15 year old who drew pictures and who really took that seriously? What a mistake . I hope this is a wake up call for teachers and other school personnel and of course parents to over see such things and take them seriously from now on. Such an oversight.
The child isn't a hunter and when my husband was old enough to hunt with a rifle he learned about guns how to keep them locked cleaned, ect.. He was responsible. Not every kid is responsible at a young age. I feel bad for the families of these kids that were killed and injured. I think with parents being busy working ect. they don't always spend the time necessary with their kids to guide them.
My son doesn't even use social media at all. Too much of that stuff today.
