I did have 3 marriage proposals from fellas that I didn’t feel the same about them that they felt about me. I kind of felt bad about that. We went out and had fun ect.. but never lived together. One of them who had his own furniture store wanted me to live with him and get married and work in the store like his parents did in their store but I just didn’t feel the same. My life would of been so different but he was shot and killed in his store.
My husband has been dead now for over 8 years and I do not mind being single at all. I liked being married . We got along fine. Yes compromise is a big one for sure along with money and communication. We were together for 38 years.
