My husband and I spent most of our time together anyway. He was disabled and couldn’t work the latter years of his life. So we would spend time together. Early on we visited family but we did most things together. I even took up hunting and learned how to fish. We rarely ever spent time with others just ourselves and family for the most part. So yeah when I learned that marriages were falling apart because of the time spent together I thought that was sad in that to me you get married to spend time together and enjoy each others company. I can’t see having a spouse spend a lot of time traveling or out of town. I would not want to be married to someone like that. I would love to have a good friendship with someone now that I am widowed. Not rule out getting married again but it isn’t really necessary. I enjoy my independence.
