The New York Times Best Seller tells the story of the grizzled veteran and amusement park maintenance man who, like Albom’s real-life Uncle Eddie for whom the character is named, didn’t believe his life was special or meaningful. As Eddie learns his life—and his death—had important consequences for other people, so does the young girl he saved in his last moments. On October 9th, the story continues with his first ever sequel, The Next Person You Meet in Heaven.

This fall will celebrate the new book with an on-stage event series with Mitch Albom discussing the story of what happened to Annie, the little girl whose near-death launched Eddie’s journey to heaven.
