MemberWhen you have time, check out Grant Woell at http://www.myspace.com/grantwoell. He writes and performs his own songs. He’s a talented 15 year old with a great sound (in this proud father’s humble opinion.) I hope you’ll listen to him and enjoy his music as much as I do. Thanks.

MemberThe Delta Twins (http://www.deltatwins.com) is a Farmington-based band that plays funky, rootsy blues/folk/rock with a conscience. Their original tunes will get your heart beating, your feet dancing, and your soul leaping. And I’m pretty sure they’d love to play on Mitch’s show sometime…

MemberThese young kids are 15 years old and are from Brighton, MI and started playing together just 2 years ago. Since then, they have recorded and copywrote 7 songs and have been invited to play at many venues from local Battle of the Bands, to lounge entertainment at The Bullfrog, VFW’s and local entertainment of the annual swim team “Meet and Greet” and local restaurants. Can be seen on Facebook (search bus 21), also on reverbnation.com (bus 21) where lastest recording are available.

MemberPlease checkout http://www.lostcityband.com. There is a link to Reverbnation where you will find 30 or so songs (mostly originals). Please give them a listen. I am proud to be part of this band and what they do. Someday we would like the opportunity to play on the Mitch Album Show in the afternoon. A fun song the is relevant for today is “too much for gas”.

MemberPlease check out No Soliciting, a band of four South Lyon teens formed in 2007. Almost immediately, they started writing their own music, and it was clear early on that this was no ordinary teen band. At a local benefit show, their performance was caught by rock ‘n roll legend Mitch Ryder, who was tremendously impressed with their original music and encouraged them to keep writing.
Their performances at venues such as The South Lyon Hotel, The Tap Room (Ypsilanti), Fraternal Order of Eagles (White Lake), & South Lyon Pumpkinfest have garnered local critical recognition due to the band’s formidable songwriting, impressively energetic live shows, and a level of musicianship that belies their youth.
Their debut alternative rock album, recorded in the summer and fall of 2010 when the band members were just fifteen years old, will fill your heart and mind with raw edginess, soft-spoken intricacies, and lyrics that make you stop and think. Connect with No Soliciting at
http://www.facebook.com/nosolicitingband

The album “No Soliciting” is now available at

and also on iTunes. The official release date is September 10, with a special event to be held at the South Lyon VFW, featuring the band and some very special guests.May 30, 2012 at 12:58 am #13730BobBurnham
MemberWHEREZ MY LIMO BAND (Detroit) Wherez My Limo was formed seven years ago by musicians who originally met as Livonia high school students in the 1970s. Shawn Whiting, Ed Wurtzbacher and Bob Burnham were the founding members. Bob and Shawn were drummers in Livonia Stevenson’s concert band. Bob & Ed are still with Wherez My Limo holding down bass and guitar duties. They later added George Elemont as lead vocalist, Matt Diggs as lead guitarist, Mike Riopelle as drummer and Doug Lewis on keyboards. Shawn, a dentist, took over managing a Toledo dental practice and had to leave his own band. Wherez My Limo plays mostly in the western suburbs, most notably at Timber Wolf Tavern in Redford and Papa Joes in Westland. Wherez My Limo, a cover band, does everything from James Taylor and Jimmy Buffet to Rolling Stones, Beatles and Jethro Tull. Their next show is June 30th at Papa Joes Bar & Grill 34264 Ford Rd, Westland MI 48185 from 9:30-1:00.

MemberCheck out Ryan Kelly and Neil Byrne, they recently won two Irish Music Awards from the Irish Music Association for Top Duo in Pub, Festival or Concert and Best New CD for “Acoustically Irish.” I recently saw them at O’Mara’s Irish Pub in Berkley, MI on February 4th 2014. They are part of the group Celtic Thunder but their show Acoustic By Candlelight is a more intimate affair which allows for the fans of there’s to interact one on one with the duo. They also have their own solo work as well. The album is a mixture of songs that are popular along with those you might never of heard of before.

MemberTake a Listen: http://youtu.be/8DBVgLivwEY Hi Mitch!Get us on quick, we’re old. The Sanctuary Blues Band have roots firmly planted in traditional R&B music driven by the emotion and passion that comes with ongoing recovery from alcohol and drugs. Band leader, Doug Glaser is the lead singer who’s story tells of a man who was told he had 8 months left if he didn’t stop using and now has 8 years of spiritually based recovery. The joy, peace and gratitude are reflected in their music. It’s a clean thang!
