The question proposed by Brenda of MitchAlbom.com was
“Why do good things happen to bad people?”…
I don’t think this can be answered unless we look at another common phrase
“Why do bad things happen to good people?”
Depending on your own religious belief this can be answered with a religious point of view or you can take an atheist stance on this question.
I accept how followers of different religious will interpret this question, but personally, my beliefs alien with those who take the atheist approach to understanding human life. I don’t believe a higher power is surrounding us, intervening on human life, deciding when good things or bad things will happen and to whom.
Good and bad things are uncontrollable, but how we handle events and situations in our life is what separates each person, regardless of religion. I try not to judge people how they act but how they react. How we react when good/bad enters our life is a great definer of human character.
To answer the question…It doesn’t matter why things happen…Its, what happens next.
