Agreed! A few years ago, I wore a nun costume to a community Halloween Party in Clawson. A woman came up to me and told me I was offending her by dressing in holy clothing. She also, accused me of being an abortionist! Now how dressing like a nun has anything to do with aborting babies is beyond me. Also, I went to catholic school and even had a nun as a teacher. When did wearing a costume on Halloween become just about ridiculing the person you are dressing as? I was brought up to believe that it is the one day a year that you could be anyone you wanted to be, and it didn’t matter if you were ridiculing or emulating that figure. We are going to PC ourselves into a boring grey society where we can’t express opinion about anything. To envision that in our near future...That’s even scarier then the movie “The Exorcist”.
