I agree that the cost of the tickets and the fees and the cost of parking is ridiculous. We all get older every day but age is a mindset and you are as old as you feel. The noise doesn't bother me a bit at a concert. While I vacation in a small town. There are people that live here and grumble about the traffic. I hear it every time I come during a festival that they have. To me locals have no idea how simple this is compared to the daily traffic and construction that we have. They would be overwhelmed without a doubt. They don't like to see lots of people. It is what it is that is why I call it a vacation. Nice for a change. I however may look a bit older but in my mind I am still around 30 years old and the stuff that goes on in a concert doesn't bother me a bit. Just the price for me.

After I realize that we are all beginning to show our age a little (or a lot) including the music masters on the stage, the best part for me comes when their music just flows out of them, no work involved, no staged moves, it is just a part of them being shared with us. They are relaxed, we are thrilled, and the conversational interaction between them and the audience makes us feel like we have been friends for many years. I see it and hear it every time!!
