I share this article with my students. I wasn’t close friends, but class acquaintances with Jack, Jim and Graham. They were easy to admire and indeed, Mitch Albom has described them accurately. I got to play hockey with them on the Lake once in a while and laughed like Joe described at just pummeling each other. Condolences even now, especially now to parents and anyone who knew them.

I met Jimmy Mitchell in the spring of ’97 when he got a job at Wendy’s and we clicked right away. The dude had something special to the point where I told him “if I were gay, I would ask you out”, he would laugh. In early ’98 (I can’t remember if it was that night) but I had a dream that I was hit by a missle and I am serious, a tense unforgettable dream. I read Mr Albom’s article and he described the bronco as a missle and I had I nearly crapped my pants. My condolences to the Mitchell and Morsehead family. And I do remember your son Jim.
