If they want to they can lower the standards of the existing dress code but I wouldn’t recommend to come in hoodies or tank tops to it.Furthermore I would state that it’s not only a symbol of respecting the history but also of basic seriousness. America is economically and in military the strongest country in the world, it has duties and represents the power of the West and I think that the image of politicans with hoodies and tank tops could lead to the thought of a sign of weakness.
