I wanted to given Trump a chance- last week. This week has shown us the type of people he wants in his cabinet and the White House. I am appalled. I now have to agree with Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson when he writes, "We cannot and will not forget the fact that he is still a serial sexual predator and an avowed racist, a liar and a thief and a con man who is being sued for fraud and racketeering. We cannot forget that the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazi Party cheered his election and cheered again when he hired Stephen Bannon for his administration. The resistance begins now."

You are a voice of common sense civility in a stadium full of yelling maniacs. As long as the maniacs continue to gather clicks, retweets, and other forms of ad revenue attention, we will have to live with their echo chamber of drivel. Unfortunately, our current forms of interaction tend to reward this type of "discourse" because we as a society can't seem to take our eyes off of the carnage that the media seems to create in it's own self serving way. If more of society behaved like you, perhaps Ben Carson would have lasted a little longer into the election season but as you aptly pointed out in another article, what potential candidate in their right mind would want to put themselves through this process.
