Chicago Tribune’s Unscripted

Fifteen years ago, Mitch Albom published his first novel, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. The New York Times Best Seller tells the story of the grizzled veteran and amusement park maintenance man who, like Albom’s real-life Uncle Eddie for whom the character is named, didn’t believe his life was special or meaningful. As Eddie learns his life—and his death—had important consequences for other people, so does the young girl he saved in his last moments. On October 16th, the story continues with his first ever sequel, The Next Person You Meet in Heaven.
This fall, Mitch Albom goes Unscripted. Join Mitch for an intimate conversation celebrating his two new publications and his successful career as a best-selling author, screenwriter, playwright and nationally syndicated columnist.

This fall will celebrate the new book with an on-stage event series with Mitch Albom discussing the story of what happened to Annie, the little girl whose near-death launched Eddie’s journey to heaven.
