About This Episode
Many people in this country have been in isolation for over a month now. Aside from occasional trips to the market for food, our days are spent within our own four walls with those closest to us, or in many cases, alone. The thing we need most to survive – human touch – has been taken from us. And now, more than ever, we need to find those people who can keep us going when we don’t feel like going much at all. Those friends we can call 24/7 to say, “Hey, I need someone to talk to.” Our “Especially Now” friends. On today’s episode of the Tuesday People podcast, we discuss how identifying your “Especially Now” friends, and keeping a support system around you, is crucial during this unprecedented time in our lives. Being in isolation doesn’t mean you need to be isolated from the world. Reach out to someone today and be a friend to someone who needs you…especially now.

I liked it. Human touch is important like Human Kindness. I have been doing good during the pandemic . I go to work because I am an essential worker. So that hasn’t changed for me. I just got done yesterday turning in more masks that I have sewn and they gave me 6 different materials which just last night I was able to cut out 50 more masks to now sew again . I keep in touch with mostly family and a few people that I volunteer with to see how they are doing. I will be making some masks for my nieces and my great niece and nephew. They need them. So they are on my list. I have lots of customers who constantly ask how I am doing and I am doing good. I enjoy going to work and thankfully I have a job. So I talk all the time with others. I have listened to many. I see some customers that just come to the store all the time because they don’t have others. I understand that. I do the best I can. Hopefully in another month things can start to open up for others and some can get back to work. That will be a big help for them. I had a nice 4 day weekend off at Easter and I enjoyed all of it. I couldn’t gather with family but we will again some time I am glad that you started your weekly chapters but even though you think this is a long story it could easily become a book later on.
Have a great week.
