A Time to Help Motown Soup Take 2

We’re back! For the second time this year, ATTH will be helping stock up the store room at Motown Soup, the all-volunteer nonprofit that produces and packages dry soups and other mixes to raise funds for the needy. Motown Soup requested our team of volunteers  to return in part because of how quickly and efficiently we completed March’s project: In three hours, ATTH produced and packaged 1,420 mixes, which beat our 2018 effort of 1,200 (not that we’re counting!)

All proceeds from the sale of Motown Soup products benefit homeless shelters, soup kitchens and food pantries. For the last two years, SAY Detroit’s food program at its SAY Play Center has been a benefit of Motown  Soup funding.

Parking: Free parking in lot adjacent to building.

Attire/Other Info:

All volunteers will be outfitted in aprons, hair nets/caps and food safety gloves on location. Please wear comfortable shoes as most stations are standing. Please don’t attend if you’re sick on the morning of the project (you can easily unregister through CERVIS at atimetohelp.org). All volunteers are welcome to “shop’’ for products after the event in Motown Soup’s store.
