A Time to Help Event – Angel’s Place

Jul 26, 2008 | News | 0 comments

Angels’ Place is a nonprofit organization providing homes and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. One of the organization’s goals is to positively integrate the residents into their neighborhoods and a first step in reaching this goal is to ensure the homes are well-kept. With fourteen homes located throughout the metro Detroit region, Angels’ Place relies greatly on volunteers for maintenance and upkeep needs. Please join us at a home in Southfield for a day of yard clean-up and landscaping projects to beautify the home’s exterior. Help us pull weeds, trim bushes, remove high maintenance plants and plant new and transplanted flowers. You will surely find the rewards are great in meeting this need in our community.

Any gardening tools volunteers are able to bring, such as shovels, gardening gloves, clippers, etc., are appreciated. Just make sure to label them with your name!

Please wear appropriate footwear. (No flip-flops – Close-toed shoes preferred.)

Time: 9:00AM – 12:00AM
Location:
Angel’s Place
16022 Webster Avenue
Southfield, MI 48076
