A Time to Help November 2015 Project

Come and join us down at Arts & Scraps on November 21, 2015. A Detroit-based nonprofit that uses recycled industrial materials to help people of all ages and abilities think, create and learn. Arts & Scraps serves 275,000 children and recycles 28 tons annually.

Project Location: 16135 Harper, Detroit, MI 48224

Project Scope: Our group will be preparing materials and packing kits for classrooms and individuals at the Arts & Scraps’ private warehouse.

Volunteers: Wear comfortable clothing. All materials for assembling the classroom kits will be provided.

Parking: Arts & Scraps is on the corner of Bedford and Harper. Park at the main building in the parking lot (look for the wrought iron fence and white globe lights).  Project will take place across the street in the warehouse, one block from the main building. Volunteers will be escorted to the warehouse.
