Arts & Scraps: Recycling Fun!

When: May 18, 2013  |  9:00  a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

ProjectFor the month of May, A Time to Help will work with Arts & Scraps, a Detroit nonprofit aimed at recycling raw materials to help serve inner-city youth by providing educational/learning materials.

Volunteers will help in the Arts & Scraps Warehouse to prepare materials and assemble them into kits designed to enhance learning and creativity.

(The name of the organization does not appear on the building – only the address. It’s a green and beige building. Volunteers can park at 16135 Harper Ave, cross the street and walk to the Warehouse.)
