Detroit Dream Scholars Reception 2013

Sep 26, 2013 | News | 0 comments

On September 19th, Mitch met with seven Detroit Dream Scholars at a reception at the Center Galleries at the College for Creative Studies. The event served not only to celebrate the work of current Dream Scholars, but also to work towards the goal of having twelve Dream Scholars–a “Detroit Dozen.”

In his continued collaboration with the College for Creative Studies, Mitch has donated $60,000 to fund the Dream Scholars. Now, he’s challenging eleven other donors in the arts and business community to provide this opportunity to twelve deserving students without financial means to attend CCS as undergraduates.

To find more about Detroit Dream Scholars, and ways you can help fund the “Detroit Dozen,” visit the College for Creative Studies site.

Thank you to Elayne Gross Photography for the photos.
