Project:  Neighborhood Clean-up in Detroit

GenesisHOPE seeks to meet the needs of human beings and neighborhoods near the east side of Detroit to eliminate poverty and powerlessness.   Their values are community building, youth development, health, safety, and sustainability.

Volunteers will help pick up trash, plant trees and shrubs and tear down and replace a sign. 

Date:  May 14, 2011

Time:  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Additional Details:   If you are able, please bring gloves, gardening tools, rakes, shovels, brooms and dust pans.
