Mitch Plays Caddy // UPDATE

Sep 12, 2011 | News | 0 comments

Fresh from an online auction that ended Friday night, Mitch Albom is caddying today for the Bernie Smilovitz 2011 Harvest Classic, an annual golf classic that supports Gleaners Community Food Bank.

Now in its seventh year, the event aims to yet again raise $100,000, which provides 300,000 meals to our hungry neighbors across southeast Michigan! In 2010, golfers raised $79,000, providing 237,000 meals for hungry families.

UPDATE

After trying to caddy for one hole, it became clear Mitch would be better just driving the golf cart and picking up the golf balls. He did this great enthusiasm.
