When: October 18, 2014  |   9:30 a.m. – 12:30 a.m.

Motown Soup is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that packages premium soup & food mixes that are sold at craft shows, retail stores and on-line. All profits from sales in various outlets are donated to various social agencies that ‘help the homeless, the hungry and the hurting” like soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters.

Date: October 18, 2014

Time: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Project Location: Trinity Lutheran Church – NE corner Van Dyke & M59 (Hall Road)

Project scope: Major tasks will focus on accurate measurement/packing dry ingredients for soup and bake mixes, stapling & labeling packaged bags, packing finished product in boxes.

Volunteers: Project minimum age is 14*. For hygiene regulation compliance, organization provides aprons, non-latex food gloves, and cafeteria hats to wear (or you may wear own baseball style hats). Long hair must be tied back.
