On November 16, 2011, Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith premiered in grand style in Detroit The day began with an  afternoon ceremony at I Am My Brother’s Keeper Church, in which the congregation, the Lewis family, the Covington family, and the film’s stars came together to celebrate the funds raised through ticket sales for the premiere that night. Two $30,000 checks were presented to the Rabbi Albert Lewis Fund and A Hole in the Roof Foundation.

Later that evening at the Royal Oak Emagine theater, the film’s stars, including Laurence Fishburne, Bradley Whitford, Martin Landau, Anika Noni Rose, Melinda McGraw, Deanna Duggan, Langston Fishburne, and Anthony “Cass” Castelow (who played himself in the film!) attended a VIP reception before the film played in ten sold out theaters. Following the movie’s playing, the stars participated in a Q&A.

A special thanks to our sponsers: Cooper Standard, Emagine Entertainment, The Somerset Collection, and Page Toyota
