Tree Planting – A Time to Help Event

A Time to Help Volunteers are partnering this month with The Greening of Detroit and the Detroit Water and Sewage Department to bring together over 160 volunteers.

When: Saturday, October 19    |   9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Project Description: Volunteers will plant more than 120 trees along Pierson and Braile from 7 Mile Road to Pembroke Avenue

Where:  Volunteers should meet at the parking lot of McKenny Elementary, 20833 Pembroke Ave. Detroit, MI 4821

Prepare: Volunteers should bring a pair of work gloves, dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes!
